25 injured as KSRTC bus falls in gorge

At least 25 passengers were injured when a KSRTC bus overturned into a gorge yesterday near Neriamangalam. Two of the injured are foreigners. None of the injured are serious. The accident occurred on Saturday morning, around 6.45, at Moonamkallu near 5th mile. The accident occured when the Super Fast bus going from Munnar to Trivandrum tried to give way to an oncoming vehicle. The bus hit the safety wall, and overturned into the gorge. 14 out of the injured are undergoing treatment at Beselios Hospital here. Others were discharged after first aid.
